CHARLTON HOUSE IN THE LIMELIGHT

Charlton House has landed a leading role with Paramount Pictures, the internationally renowned movie producers and distributors. The independent catering firm has been awarded the staff catering contract at Paramount’s new international corporate headquarters in Chiswick.

In a deal worth £260K in annual turnover, Charlton House will manage a café and hospitality services for approximately 280 on site once the contract opens in mid October. In the meantime, Charlton House is working closely with the architect (McFarlane Latter) and the kitchen designers (Space Catering Design) to create a truly bespoke catering environment for Paramount at the Greenfield site.

Hospitality is expected to be a key feature of the contract as this is the first time Paramount will have on-site caterers. The new building houses a 53-seater private movie theatre for screenings of new movies, as well as a bar, meeting rooms and board rooms.

Robyn Jones, co-founder and chief executive of Charlton House, said: “The stylish café will offer an all-day service geared towards this young and creative customer base. We will serve breakfast and hot lunches, as well as a deli bar and grab-and-go offer. We see hospitality taking off very quickly! Executive and senior staff will be based in the building so there will be lots of exciting working lunches, screenings and other movie-related functions.”
