ROBYN JONES SUPPORTS WOMEN OF ACHIEVEMENT - OCT 08 Robyn Jones, co-founder and chief executive of independent staff catering firm, Charlton House, is sponsoring the Sue Ryder Care Women of Achievement Awards 2008. The Awards are open to women in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire – the three counties supported by Sue Ryder Care - Nettlebed Hospice in Oxfordshire, which provides specialist palliative care to people and their families. Charlton House has managed the catering operation on site since 1999. Charlton House currently supports the charity by providing services to the hospice pro bono. The Women of Achievement Awards celebrate local women whose contributions to business, education, the community, arts or recreation deserve to be brought to light. Geraldine Harmon from Sue Ryder Care, said: "Charlton House have been working with Sue Ryder Care - Nettlebed Hospice for several years and their support goes above and beyond that of a usual supplier. We are particularly pleased to have the support of Robyn Jones, a prominent, local ‘woman of achievement.” Launched in 2007, the annual Awards recognise and celebrate successful women who have excelled in life or business, with all money raised is in aid of Sue Ryder Care – Nettlebed Hospice to help them continue to deliver expert and compassionate care to people living with progressive, far-advanced life-limiting conditions such as cancer. |
