IMechE JOINS CHARLTON HOUSE PORTFOLIO - AUG 08

The Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) on One Birdcage Walk, Westminster, has become the latest addition to the Charlton House portfolio. Under a contract valued at £900k in annual turnover, the independent caterers took over from the incumbents, Kudos Hospitality, on 4th August 2008.

Charlton House now manages a full conference & meetings catering service on-site, covering everything from breakfast and working lunches to seated fine dining events for up to 150 people.

Commenting on the gain, Nico Prinsloo, business development director of Charlton House, said: “ This is a great win, adding to our growing commercial venues contracts and firmly establishing Charlton House as one of the leading players in this field. Our prospective client was impressed by our operations at the RIBA and at the Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET). Our goal is to build on IMechE’s success to date as a leading London venue.”

Note to Editors:
