Supporting Service Evolution at Sony Weybridge
We were first appointed to work with Sony in 1994, partnering with them as they opened their new headquarters in Weybridge. We are delighted to have retained the Weybridge contract for almost two decades, throughout a number of extremely competitive tender processes and changes to the internal structure of the company. The latest of these was Sony’s decision to partner with an FM company, who we now report into for day to day activity and for fundamental issues such as business continuity planning.
Key to our continued tenure is the creativity and innovation we have displayed at each site we serve, regularly introducing new ideas and concepts to keep Sony well ahead of the curve within the staff catering arena. Our flexibility, experience and robust infrastructure have enabled us to adapt throughout the years to meet Sony’s needs. We are delighted that our relationship with this client has flourished, enabling us to take on additional sites in Basingstoke (1994), Staines (1995), and Thatcham (2000).
The site serves a fluctuating customer base of some 650-800 employees, for whom we offer an extensive service, including:
• Full breakfast service
• Full hot lunch offer
• Salad bar
• “Grab and Go”
• Separate deli/coffee bar
We also provide an extensive and varied hospitality service, as well as reception services, which we have delivered since 2005. We are extremely proud of the way in which our input has improved the customer experience, and how the employees that transferred to our company under TUPE at the start of the contract have flourished with our support.
The successful growth of our relationship with The Sony Group is testament to our ability to deliver what we promise and adapt in response to changing client requirements.
