Charlton House Wins Catering Partnership with Centrica and British Gas

Following a rigorous tendering process, we are very happy to announce that we have secured the contract to act as primary food service provider for Centrica and British Gas at all of their 15 sites.

From the 1st of September, 250 members of Charlton House staff will be serving 15,000 employees and visitors each day, operating from offices ranging from Cardiff and Edinburgh to Staines.

Our reputation for providing workplace meals superior in taste and health and competitively priced, together with our commitment to working in partnership with clients and providing our Wellbeingbeingwell healthy eating platform were key factors in securing the contract win.

“We are delighted to welcome Charlton House onto our team. They responded to our desire to think differently about our catering service and have kept the needs of our employees at the heart of this process. Their food is designed with all-day energy and wellbeing in mind, as well as being creative and good value.” – Property Manager Trisha Parkinson

Centrica and British Gas employees will benefit from our desire to keep Charlton House food in line with today’s most appealing high street choices and food industry guidance. Wellbeingbeingwell choices offer calorie-counted snacks within the ‘Portions’ range, reduced calorie cakes (with 100 fewer calories per serving) and up-weighted vegetable portions, an easy way to help customers get to their “Five-a-Day”.

Caroline Fry “We are extremely pleased to be working with Centrica and British Gas, and this contract award is a ringing endorsement of CH&Co’s innovations in health and wellbeing of workplace meals, which is at the heart of everything we do.”
